Rules for Laptops
1. Do not change desktop wallpaper, screen savers, or icons.
2. Do not install any programs or downloads without permission.
3. Use the internet with permission only.
4. Be respectful of others and the other Chromebooks while in class or travelling to/from class.
5. Never give out personal information on the Web.
6. Chat rooms are forbidden without teacher authorizaiton.
7. If something inappropriate comes up on the screen and raise a hand. Wait for the teacher to assist.
8. Raise a hand if another person goes to an inappropriate site. Sitting and watching is wrong, too.
9. Never go into Control Panel or Properties unless instructed to do so.
10. Personal e-mail is not allowed during instructional time.
11. Never download anything onto the Chromebooks.
12. Never clear or alter the history of the computer. The teacher will interpret this action as covering up inappropriate computer use.
Violations result in:
1st--Principal Conference / 1 week in the Penalty Box + other potential consequences
2nd--Principal Conference / 2 weeks in the Penalty Box + other potential consequences
3rd--Principal Conference / Device not allowed for the remainder of the quarter + other potential consequences
